The Flying Splice - Straight Splice

1. Crease and tear the leading edge of the incoming roll to provide a guideline for application of the tab tape.

2. Secure the leading edge of the roll to prevent gapping.

3. Apply ARclad® 8345 or ARclad® 8395 tab tape to secure the leading edge of the reel.

4. ARclad® 8345 and ARclad® 8395 are designed for easy positioning across the full web width.

5. Apply ARclad® double-faced tape directly above the tab tape.

6. Rub thoroughly from the center out.

7. Remove the release liner immediately before making the flying splice.
